Lawyers Who Rock
With 30,000 runners in DC's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, legal folks couldn't keep away. Bracewell & Giuliani NY office administratorJason Brodsky took a break from keeping the470-lawyer firm's Big Apple office running and came down to ring in his2013 race season. He crossed the half finish line in 2:07:06. Next on his list is the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler and Citi Field's Spartan Race.
Wiley Rein IP partner Brian Pandya clocked some bonding time with his father-in-law, fellow lawyer Dennis Brescoll of Detroit's Brescoll & Brescoll. It was Brian's seventh half-marathon--though he has yet to catch up to Dennis, who's run more than 50. Brian's wife, Julie, who founded a home decorating business, joined them for the run and snapped this afterward in RFK (from how relaxed they look, you'd never guess they already finished the race).
Brian and Dennis's post-marathon celebration this week included a visit to the Supreme Court. Dennis made the motion for Brian's admission to the Supreme Court bar.
